Louise D’Allura and I go way back. I met her at the very first business networking event I had ever attended way back in 2010. I had recently finished up some contract work and had ended up looking for employment, contracts (anything really) in the middle of the GFC. Feeling very flat about the job market I headed out to a women’s business event for some inspiration. Little did I know, that evening would basically kick start my personal business and land me some really great mates at the same time. Lou was one of them!
Over a decade later and we have now worked on some fantastic projects together including educational and promotional videos for NAQ Nutrition, an informational video for the Southern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (SSROC), the WELL Productivity® Professional Support Program created by Louise D’Allura and also available through Happy Schools, and more recently I got to edit Louise’s speaker showreel video which was a real treat! You can check out the showreel by clicking here.
But for this latest shoot we were working on creating a set of portraits that express Lou’s vibrant personality and passion for her work. We wanted to put together a really well rounded set of portraits that would cover all of Lou’s digital requirements. We needed social media shots that would connect with her audience and reinforce her personal brand and we also wanted to make sure we had those stock standard headshots covered too.
Lou is so fun to work with. She is creative, enthusiastic but also focused which made everything run like clock work. We covered our full shot list and more - Here are some of my personal favorites. I look forward to posting Lou’s top picks soon too!
