(Q) How long will my photography session go for?

(A) Photography sessions last for varying times.  Business Portrait Sessions last for one hour (plus set up time) and the Business Team Portrait Sessions last for 1 and a half hours.

 

(Q) How many photos will I get from my photography session?

(A) You will receive approximately 60 to 100 images from your shoot on DVD in high resolution for printing and low resolution for using on social media sites.  

 

(Q) How do I book a session with Kerrin Smith?

(A) You can email Kerrin Smith directly with to info@kerrinsmith.com.au or by using the contacts page on this website.  Kerrin will then contact you to discuss your needs and requirements and to find a suitable time for the session.  

 

(Q) Where will the photography or video session be carried out?

(A) The session is carried out at the location of your choosing.  If you would like an outdoor shoot, Kerrin will work with you to find a suitable location based on your needs, travel times and suitability.  You can also choose to have your session in the comfort of your own office, home or home office.  Kerrin Smith has a portable studio lighting kit, portable backdrops and outdoor lighting equipment available for use at no extra cost to you.  

 

(Q) How long will it take to get my photos back on DVD?

(A) Kerrin will send your photos on DVD to you via Australia Post once they have been digitally processed.  They will be dispatched to you with in 7 to 10 working days for photography and 10 to 15 working days for video.  If you need them sooner, speak to Kerrin prior to your shoot to arrange this.  For Wedding Photography Packages the turn around time is 4 weeks.

 

(Q) How do I plan for a business shoot?

(A) If you are unsure of how to plan for your business photography or video shoot then just ask Kerrin.  Kerrin has worked with hundreds of small business people and entrepreneurs so she knows the best ways to maximise your session time.  Kerrin with work with you personally to put together ideas and styles for your shoot based on your desired personal branding, your business and your target market. 

  

 

(Q) How will the video look? 

(A) The style of your video will be determined during the initial phone consultation.  This can be inspired by other business videos or the concept can be created with Kerrin's help.  All the videos will be created using a template format that will be explained and shown to you in your initial consultation.  

 

(Q) What will I say in my video?

(A) If you do not already have a good idea of what content you will use for your video, Kerrin will provide you with a script template.  It is really important to keep your script length at about 2-3 minutes.  This is preferred viewing time for audiences and will give you the best chance of keeping them watching right to the end.  

 

(Q) How do I prepare for my filming session?

(A) The most important thing you must do to prepare for your filming session is to learn your script.  If you know your content back to front you will easily be able to speak from the heart and with confidence.  You will be able to focus more on your presentation as a whole rather than focusing on what line is next.  And if you have a large amount of content to cover a teleprompter can be used.   

 

(Q) How long will my video filming session go for?

(A) Your video session will last for approximately 2 hours depending on what equipment needs to be set up.  If you are creating a more complex video or if you are creating a suite of videos your session time will be longer.  Kerrin will be able to provide you with an accurate session duration time when you book.  

 

(Q) Where will the video filming session be carried out?

(A) The filming session is carried out at the location of your choosing.  If you would like an outdoor video Kerrin will work with you to find a suitable location based on your needs, travel times and suitability.  You can also choose to have your filming session in the comfort of your own office, home or home office.  Kerrin Smith has a portable studio lighting kit, portable backdrops and outdoor lighting equipment available for use at no extra cost to you.

   

(Q) How long will it take to get my video back on DVD?

(A) Kerrin will send your video on DVD to you via Australia Post once they has been digitally edited.  It will be dispatched to you with in 10-15 days from the filming session date.  It is important to note that the whole process will generally take about 3-4 weeks though if you factor in the concept development time, script writing time and practice time before the actual filming occurs.

 

(Q) Where and how can I use my business videos? 

Using video is a great way to connect with your online audience and to build trust and confidence with your clients.  You can use your videos in any number of ways.  You can create a YouTube channel for your business and upload your videos to that.  You should then appropriately tag your video and add written content to help your audience find you when using search engines.  You can add your video to your website home page, your blog, Facebook and other social media sites and to e Newsletters or e Magazines.  

 

Payments

 

(Q) How can I pay for my session?

(A) Accepted payment options are: Direct deposit, Cash, Cheque and PayPal.  All Credit Card transactions must be processed through Paypal.

 

(Q) When do I pay for my session?

(A) Payment for photography and video sessions vary.  All other photography and video sessions require a booking fee to be paid at the time of booking the session.  This booking fee comes off the total price of the package - it is not an extra cost.  The balance of the package is due after the session has been completed and before your DVD is sent out to you.

 

(Q) What if I need a refund?

(A) If you would like a refund please contact Kerrin as soon as possible.  Refunds are given on deposits due to weather or changes in personal circumstances if you contact Kerrin within 48 hours of your session time.  Alternatively you can reschedule your session.
